T-case control module sleeping

MattWtech

Question

typical friday at work.. nothing to do but diagnose a tough one, anyway i got a 2004 chev avalanche ,5.3 w/ TC. 4wd light is on, no scan tool communicates with it, brick doesnt genysis doesnt mentor doesnt tech 2 doesnt. checked DLC and it has power and ground, selecting switch has power but it wont select anything. also have power to transfer case module, and power going to transfer case from the module... but i think the darn thing is sleeping and the wake up procedure didnt work, anybody have any ideas.. already tried replacing switch and module by the way, and i also checked every single connector for pin continuity, and were good

i think they do, we tried it and it probably reset, but still wouldnt communicate, we also tried the wakeup procedure, which was a rediculous pull 2 fuses put them back in, i got an idea after i left work about it but i cant remember for sure, power from the module goes through pcm and through cluster, i want to check and see if it lost communication with the cluster, ive heard stories of codes and lights from that but i cant remember the schematics off the top of my head
