My wife and I are looking at purchasing a trailer for our 11 month old son. Our local bike shop carries Trek trailers between $260.00 and $500.00.

Anyone have any other brand suggestions? In general, what are the pros and cons of trailers?

they are all pretty much the same. I got one for $30 at a garage sale a couple years ago and have put lots and lots of miles on it with no problems!!! I don't see the need to spend that much, unless you have it to burn. I'd certainly be happy with one for 1/3 the cost from target.

Burley makes great trailers. Check garage sales for them

I have had the burly that hold 2 kids for 12+ years. It has been through 3 kids. Now we use it when we go camping or to one of the kids games to haul a cooler and our chairs.

Fellas, the Burley is a fine kids trailer but the flexibility of the Chariot is what makes it a super child carrier.
