Nice. I'm still waiting for my first one. They don't make a very cooperative subject. You must have been quick on the draw.

Not quick, just lucky. Saw him by a road, pulled up, got out. The two hens flew right away, he stayed behind to check me out or something.

Cool shot he probabaly wasn't going anywhere until he knew where the hens were headed. That red on their face this time of the year is unreal.
