Devil's Lake

What are the odds of getting a boat in at Devil's Lake this coming weekend? I assume not likely, huh?

They have live cameras on various web sites, that show whats going on. Looks like there is still a lot of ice.

Lake was ice covered on the 19th but really started opening up by the 21st on the west end. 6 mile bay and west was pretty much open. Pelican was open. East end was still ice covered at noon on the 21st.

Had some friends out there last weekend that fished from shore. They caught some nice walleyes and pike from shore in 6 mile bay and up at channel A. Judging by what's going on here in northern minnesota, and with the wind they always have out there in nordakota, I'll bet you can get in there now with a boat. Might try it myself early next week.
