lookingforluck
Anybody have any advice for a boat seats that can stand up to 300+ lb people sitting in them? I don't like having to gingerly sit on boat seats in fear of snapping the back off. Any advice would be helpful, thanks!!
0 Capt. Don*
Pompanette Marine makes some of the best boat seats out there. I've had them on some boats and they held up to serious abuse from heavy people and heavy seas. Be sure of your needs though, you can replace alot of seats for the cost of one Pompanette, but it could prevent an injury depending on your situation. 0 Kyle Sandberg
I would get the seats that have a metal frame that holds braces the back. They are pretty sturdey and have taken a good pounding.
0 waskawood
I use SmoothMove's in my boat and love them. They have an adjustable tension according to ones weight. Very sturdy.

0 goose52
Cheap seats don't hold up for me. i bought a couple of lund seats because they hold up well for me. i believe i paid a little over $200.00 for each. but you could check around and maybe get a deal on some outdated new ones. i'm a dense 275# (sink in water).
