Anyone know how you post a picture with your message? I have some pictures of some nice fish that I would like to put in some of the chatrooms.

Thanks.....Good Fishing, Matt.

MJ5,
the info you require is found in the FAQ for this site.
http://fishingminnesota.com/ubb/faq.html

Under this link:

quote:

Attaching Files

For security reasons, you may not attach files to any posts. You may cut and paste text into your post,

however, or use HTML and/or UBB Code (if enabled) to provide hyperlinks to outside documents.

and the following(HTML/UBB Codes)

quote:

Using HTML and/or UBB Code

You may be able to use HTML and/or UBB Code in your posts, if your administrators and moderators

have those options turned on for each forum. Some forums may have either HTML or UBB Code turned

off, or both turned off. Only your bulletin board's leaders can set this. Every time you post a new note,

you will be told whether UBB Code and/or HTML is enabled for that particular forum. If HTML is on, you

may use any HTML tags, but please be very careful that you use proper HTML syntax. If you do not, your

moderator or administrator may have to edit your post. UBB Code is similar to HTML, but offers just a few

basic functions, such as hyperlinking,
image display
, bolding and italicizing. A complete list of current

UBB Codes are listed here.

Scroll down on the page linked just above & look for Adding Images

{basically , you have to "borrow" the image from a URL/Webpage. If you have a HSOforum, you can post the pictures there, & then use UBB code in your post/reply to bring the picture file(I.E.- .jpg, or, .gif, etc.)to the site where you wish to display it.}

That should help . smile.gif
I added the links so you can bookmark them if desired for future reference.

Note: I recommend to all to take the time to read the FAQ for any site (Forum/B.Board/Chat), before posting.
It's good to know the rules. wink.gif

See ya out there!

Mac's Twin Bay on Mille Lacs Lake. January 5th, 2002. 18 feet of water. One-inch glow spoon tipped with euro larvae. The top perch is 2lb 2oz and the bottom perch is 1lb 11oz. Both perch are in the process of being mounted along with 3 more that were around a pound.
Good Fishing, Matt.

The first picture is some crappies caught on Bald Eagle Lake. The second is some crappies caught on Christmas Lake. The third are two crappies that I iced from a local dam.
Good Fishing, Matt.

I see them now. That's kind of strange. I'm not sure what was going on but they are here now.
Nice perch! Where did you tag these jumbos? Is Darling a lake? You don't have to answer. A school of those would look good on the wall. Wow!

Good Fishing, Matt.
