Anyone hear who won the truck?
I couldn't find the results on their web page.

I think i had the right area just not the right spot, lots of nice fish cought w/in 25 yds of us, biggest near us was 4.4 eye, me, not a bite, and as far as the truck, I beleive it was a 9+ eye that took it,

It was a 9.3 lb pike that took it. Man that must have been a rush! Caught it with less than an hour let in the contest. What a bummer it must have been for the person who had the 8+ lb walleye on the board for most of the contest.

Myself, not a bite. Our group scrounged one small eye that didn't make the cut. We might have been too deep(58 ft)this year. Marked fish before the contest but nothing after start time. There's always next year!

How was the turnout? Know of a lot of people, including myself who didn't go because of the change of plans.

There was definitely less than usual. They announced it was approximately 8,000 anglers during the contest.

So they lost about $60,000 to $70,000 because they were pathetic about the ice conditions. I was up there that weekend and they were fine. Too bad I usually enjoy that tournament!

Well not so good news here. One of the guys in our group had a big walleye on but lost it at the bottom of the hole. We all saw it. The head took up all of the bottom of the hole. We all felt pretty sick that we couldn't get the fish up out of the hole. We were in 64 feet of water on the outer edge. His brother tried to grab it, but all he ended up with was a wet arm. It really sucks. It could have been the wining fish or close. O'well, theres always next year. KOOBA
