Pro V livewell pump location??

I've got a '96 Pro V 1775 and while doing my pre-season checking I can't hear the front livewell pump run. The fuses are good so I assume the pump went bad over the winter. Now can someone tell me where this pump is located so I don't have to tear the whole boat apart looking for it?

i got same boat that had same problem 2 years ago. the pumps are located under the floor just befor u step up onto the front platform. there is a small section of floor that will come out with a couple of screws. took me a week to find them. good luck and let me know how it goes

Yep, that's where they are. I gave it a little tap and she came to life. I think I'll order a new one and put it on the shelf for when I really need it.

funny when i had a problem i did the same thing and it worked again

When you have to change out the pump be sure to replace it with the type that has the quick change type of pump cartridge! This will make it a snap to change out pumps in the future! If you use your boat a lot you WILL have to change pumps out!

Thanks Cliff, while doing some research last night I saw the cartridge style. I like that idea.
