Hiddenbay
Hello Any advice out there on what to use when fishing in the spring and early summer for Bass, Northern, and Musky? I do not like using live bait and I am fishing in clear water lakes like the Manitou. Thanks,
Lotwfisher
Bass-I would use some cranks and topwater...depending on surface temps.Northern-spinnerbaits and minnow baits....trolling and casting prolly be most effectiveMuskie- Spinnerbaits and bucktails..take a few topwater also. MuskieDowg
For Bass I always have good luck throwing RattleRaps, gold or silver. Muskie... bring everything, but for sure bring big bucktails, black and orange are usually decent colors. For Northern I'd say a #5 Mepps, but crank baits, topwater and almost anything can get their attention. I'm no pro and this is just my 2 cents. Good luck!
