Thinking about a fishing trip to Waubay or Roy for some early smallmouth action. Never fished in S.D. before. Do I need a permit from the natives to fish those lakes? Any other good smallmouth lakes in the area?

Roy lake and Emeny swim are good for smallmouth. No permits needed for those lakes.
