Appeldoorn's Adds Fellegy and Roach to Guide Services

Appeldoorn's Sunset Bay Resort would like to announce that we are extremely happy to have two of some of the best fisherman this lake has to offer for guide services this year. Mr. Steve Fellegy along with Mr. Tony Roach are going to be our feature guides for the 2007 open water season.

Steve will be guiding on Mille Lacs when he isn't out chasing another championship on the PWT circuit. For those who do not know, Steve Fellegy and his family are legends on Mille Lacs Lake. Steve is what one would truely call a professional fisherman! We wish Steve much success this year in the 2007 PWT season!

Tony Roach, is our other featured guide. Tony is also a awesome professional fisherman that will not only get you on fish, but will show you a good time. You might reconize the last name! Tony has all that experience that the Roach "Mr. Walleye" name carry's!!!

Not only will you fish out of a beautiful pro staffed LUND boat,you'll also learn allot from both Tony and Steve when you book your trip with either one of these Pro's through Appeldoorn's Resort!

We also want to share with you Captain Hook's Launch Service out of Appeldoorn's Sunset Bay. Captain Tim Joy and his son Shawn will show you a great time on Mille Lacs Lake. Last year Captian Hooks Launch had plenty of coolers full of walleye and perch.

WOW! What a great addition to an already great resort!

Summer just can't come fast enough this year. I have been dying to get back out on Mille Lacs since I moved back to MN. You can bet I will be at Appeldoorns my fair share!

I really believe that this year people will really see what the Appeldoorn's has to offer. The Appeldoorn family has worked very hard, and spent alot of money to remodel the entire resort. The Appeldoorn's really want to emphisize a true family sportmen style resort!

With the addition of Fishing Minnesota and its members I truely believe Appeldoorn's will be the choice of many for years to come!

Both Chuck and Marilyn have big plans for Appeldoorn's Sunset Bay Resort! This year, I believe will be our breakout year. Appeldoorn's will be a little different resort setting than your traditional resort on Mille Lake.

As of this last winter, I've become convinced that Roach is now absolutely the finest walleye guide on Mille Lacs. Considering the quantity and quality of guides currently working the lake, this is no small statement. Still, day after day after day, he busts his tail, drilling literally hundreds of holes in an effort to find and stay on fish-- all with a great big grin. Along the way, he offers key little tips at just the right time-- nuggets of wisdom that will help you better understand the process of catching walleyes. Or just catch the fish that's currently eyeballing your lure.

Beyond all this, though, he's a very good-natured fella who's fun to fish with. Remember his name, because Tony's fast become one of the best fishing guides in Minnesota-- ice or open water.

Tony Roach and Steve Fellegy are definately in the top 5 when it comes to boating fish on Mille Lacs. They also know the lake very well.
