Strong odor removal?

fishinbabe

Question

We bought an icehouse last October and never really noticed an odor, but now that it has been sitting for a month or so, it almost smells like cat urine in there. Does anyone know of something to get rid of this strong smell? We are not sure where it is coming from in there. Thanks for your ideas.

Yeppers...

Mix

16 oz of peroxide

16oz of Distilled water

1/4 cup of baking soda

1 oz of shampoo(non-scented if possible)

mix in a very large container and let it sit over night... then put in a spray bottle... Make sure you test it on a small area that is not seen to much first to be sure that the peroxide doesnt bleach the material.. but it shouldn't.. but always test first anyway.. then go to town!!! spray the snot out of it.. let it sit a few hours and rinse it down...

1 quart (2 pints) of 3% hydrogen peroxide

1/4 cup baking soda

1 teaspoon dishwashing soap

Rubber gloves

Small bucket with lid (for storage and mixing)

DO NOT mix until ready to use. Mixed solution cannot be stored!

This'll work on anything, even skunk spray!
