1992 Toyota Camry

maglite15

Question

Would you buy a 1992 Camry with a 4 cyl. and 275000 miles, or is that too high of miles. They want 1500 for it. Just wanting it for a daily driver to save a little on gas. The only thing that has been done was a new automatic tranny about 70000 miles ago. Thanks in advance for any info.

Offer them $900. Those cars are reliable, my father has one with almost 500,000 miles on it. With the original motor and tranny. For me, I will never pay over $1000 for a vehicle with almost 300,000 miles.

I have a '94 Camry 2.2L, 200K miles and by far the best vehicle I've ever owned. (knock on wood) I maintain my vehicles regularily, and this Camry is the easiest to maintain...

Heck, our toyo still that the entire original exhaust system without a hiccup.

These cars hold their value quite well, and they do sell with that many miles. I personally would like to see some sort of maintanance records to see that car wasn't neglected though.
