Broken tail on Aquaview?

I recently borrowed a friends camera and the tail of the fish broke off. What I am wondering is if a person can still use it this way without water getting in and causeing problems?

the fish is just a cover and has nothing to do with sealing water out. So, yes you can use the camera without the tail. OR, they sell "fish skins" to replace the one thats broke.
