Lowrance H2O help / conecting to P.C.

Cheers

Question

I would apreciate any help you can offer. THANKS ! I would like to buy a new gps and am concidering ether H2O or Garmin 76csx. My concern with the H2O is I am not sure if I can tie it to my computor and store waypoints and routes so when I loose or replace the gps I dont lose all the information. I would also like to load maps into my pc and create waypoints and routes and have them go into the gps.

I sent a email to Lowrance about 5 days ago asking if I could do this and they didnt bother to respond. The 2 dealers localy know gps stuff but not the computor side, neither did Cabelas.

Any sugestions would be apreciated. THANKS. ps please keep it simple as I dont understand computors or gps very much.

You buy a blank MMC card, about $25 depending on where and how many mb. Insert card, press menu, transfer my data, save or load? You will store your trails and waypoints. You can then transfer them to any other Lowrance unit you may have or keep as backup. I go back and forth from my ifinder and 332. Its all in your manual.

If you have mapping software on your computer you can use your iFinder for a GPS, just do a search for GPS to USB, then look for the appropriate cable style for iFinder.
