Roosterslayer05
I was wondering if anyone has tried to decoy snow geese in the spring with just a spread of canada decoys. Im going to SD this year and i have full body canada decoys only. I was thinking since everyone uses's snow decoys and snows feed in the same field's as canada's if doing something different would work. Im sure they havent decoyed into canadiens and got shot too often. I have about 50 full bodies with flocked heads to use, what are your guy's thought's on that. Eric Wettschreck
I've done it and it worked fine.
dolsmi
Just a thought. You can covert those Canadian full body decoys to snow goose decoys with the Goose Glove.I have a friend in So Dak that I hunt with that has a few dozen of these snow goose gloves and they convert the honker dec's over to snow's very easily. What they are is like a sock that slides right over the body and converts the decoy over.Just a thought... eyehead
We have always been able to get the snow's to commit to canadian decoy's, but when we hunt in ND it seems the honker's sure get decoy shy wwhen we have had snow decoy's out.
tacklebox7FF
We've put out our canada decoys and a bunch of us dressed in white suits by the decoys and that seemed to work. anything white works.. white windsocks work the best with the canadian decoys.
