VMS Posted March 12, 2007 Share Posted March 12, 2007 Sounds like many felt it was too hard and cars lost grip...So...my question would be if they went to a softer tire, would we have seen the same type of crashes? My gut says we would have seen more right-front impacts...in that we would have more tires being blown on the right front.tough call on getting the correct tire to the track...especially a new one. They did this at Charolette as well with the new pavement. So the drivers had to adjust to the way the car handled with the tires that were available, thats racing.
