I'm sure Robin, or someone from Muskie Bay can chime in for exact snow depths, but with a couple bigger dumps last week, I know pickup travel anywhere is no longer an option. I'd say we have 18-20" of snow sitting on the ice, not to mention drifting and slush. As far as depths and baits to use....sharp drop offs fishing anywhere from 15-80' white tube jig.

I haven't been out at all, but from what I hear, LOTW is starting to slush up, which tells me it's not all that bad. Give Muskie Bay a call, they will help you out with specifics.

Got the report of fishing being very slow and travel a pain in the butt. Snow drifts were big and dropped off sharp on the other side. No mention of slush, but this report was from last Sun.

I don't know about the travel conditions, but I will on Saturday and will post a report Sat. evening. As far as depth/bait. Your best action will come from 55'-70'. Anything white will work great. As hemlock mention white tubes(they are one of my favorite) the larger slurpie shad, bucktails, and airplane jigs are all my favorite lures. Bring some frozen shiners with if you can, preferably small. If they are in a neutral to negative mood a 1/2 oz. jig with a frozen shiner works well to get them to bite.

Hope all goes well. Take Care and Good Luck Fishing!!
