I would really appreciate any help you can offer on this one. I have no mind for electronics.
My Humminbird 565 is connected to the starter battery (with in-line fuse). When I crank the engine, often the Humminbird screen will go blank (turn off). Sometimes there is a quick warning message that pops up too.
It fried the unit last summer, so I sent it in for repairs. Don't want to do that again this year. Any ideas?? Do I need a seperate battery source for the sonar? Wrong fuse type?? Thanks!!!
