decoy show in Alexandria

Hello to all you fellow spearers,

There is a decoy show going to be held in Alexandria on the 24th of February at the American Legion. It is in honor of Rudy Zwieg one of many local carvers in the area and it will have several carvers from all over the state showing off their decoys. So, by all means drop in and check out the show and take a chance at winning some great prizes.

I was planning on going there to check it out. I work with a guy that brings his decoys there and he told me about it too.

Is anyone thinking of making the trip from the twin cities that might like to split a ride? I'm not sure I can go, but I thought I'd ask.

Did anyone go? I was there for a little while. It was interesting to see all the different styles of decoys. I might have to check out the Brainerd or Perham show now.

I was there for a short time. lots of neat stuff. Nice spears available, unique decoys, mermaids, ducks, beavers, frogs.... whatever you can immagine, you can make it into a decoy! Brent

Im sure there was alot of things there that everyone could be interested in. I wish i would have been able to get there, but with the weather, and work, just didnt work out. Hope there is one around the metro soon, or next year.

the show was good considering the weather. our turn out was great with that thought! The perham show is something else. The table there are so many and full! to all that made our show thank you!! see you all at Perham!
