Boat Stereo...

Looking to put the first stereo in the boat. Any brands to stay away from? Any other things to watch out for?

Not much to stay away from, get a good brand. besure speakers are marine OR with plastic cone amd membrane or they will absorb moisture.

Sirius or XM radio built in is also a nice option if you really like music. I have a Sirius Sportster Replay unit that mounts in my truck or into a Sirius boombox. I take the boombox out in the boat with me and sure keeps me company out there. Also great for camping. Junky.....
