Anyone hearing anything about Original Spiderwire going away? Cabela's has it in the clearance area, Gander Mt has very little and it was not in the Basspro master catalog?

I tried it on one of my reels last year and it seemed to tangle up a lot for me. Especially when casting hard. I'm not the type that gets a lot of tangles either. I think it was the teflon coating. And when it did tangle (which was at least once per outing) it knotted up really bad and usually required it to be cut. I won't be using it again.

Original Spiderwire doesn't have teflon coating which

is one of the reason bird's nest are picked out so easily.

They also make Stealth which is teflon coated maybe that's

the one you had problems with? Berkley bought them a few years back. I've asked around and no one seems to know anything about it?
