I just picked up a used Mag III Plus with a chipper blade. It seems to work OK but the handles are chrome and it slipped out of my hands. To make matters worse the throttle stuck due to the cold and it spun for a while by it self. I think a little oil will keep the throttle from sticking, but I was thinking about a hand grip for the handles. Any suggestions?

I had one and the handles are cold and slippery . Here is what I did to help fix that . Go get some of that plastic dip for tools , it comes in many colors .You can get it at Menards, Mills or any hardware store . It doesn't cost too much , maybe 6 bucks a can . Clean the handles and then you can use a small brush to paint it on the handle . You can build up layers to make it thicker for more protection . This worked really good for me . It also holds up really well !

How about getting that foam pipe insulation like you put on your water heater lines, I'm guessing 3/4" would do it and that will make some comfy handles
