Hot spots

Anybody have a good remedy for itching/hot spots. Benadryl works for awhile and during the night, but when she wakes up it starts again. Thanks

My lab will sometimes get a hot spot when spending a night or more away from us. I haven't used anything but last fall I picked up some EMT gel and it says on the packaging that it can be used for hot spots. My boy hasn't gotten any since I picked up the EMT gel so I have no first hand experience though.

I've also had good luck with EMT Gel.

The biggest thing is to keep the collar off until they go away - I've heard some people go so far as to shave off a patch of hair and emt gel that and it seems to help, but the one time my pooch had a hot spot the emt gel worked without any shaving.
