Dano_the_jigasaurus
For pike I typically run a 6in. or 9in. steel leader and usually 30-60lb strength. You can try fluorocarbon leaders, but you must be dilligent about checking them for nicks. If you do fluoro leaders go no less than 60lb. just for the abrasion resistence purposes. dan
10,000 Casts
I like to use a 9" or 12" Titanium leader with a ball bearing swivil. The titanium won't kink and the ball bearig swivil will reduce line twist. Titanium is a little more than steel but worth it down the road. To me brand name doesn't matter.
