doc
Has anyone used the new Strike-Lite auger for making spearing holes?I was wondering how the composite auger would hold up to making overlaping holes.Any help would be appreciated.
0 Big Julie
Have you seen these folding ice saws? They are about 3-4 ' long; folded like a jackknife.I saw my brother use his and it cut thru ice incredibly fast.Maybe take a look at a sporting goods store and ask the people about them. They look like a real answer.Drill two holes and cut two directions from each. You should be able to have a 3' by 4 feet hole in literally minutes. 0 bassNspear
The ice saw is the best thing that was created for a spearing fisherman ever. All you have to do is cut 5 holes with the auger, and then the rest is history with the hand saw. So much easier, and the hole is so much cleaner cut. 0 Northlander
Nils USA makes a excellent ice saw. One mean looking saw. Very well made and thought out.
