surplus turkey tags

Does anyone know if they offer over the counter surplus tags for the spring hunt? I know they do for the Fall but I couldn't find anything for the spring.

Bigyooper,

Yes, there are surplus tags for the Spring season. They become available at 5:00pm on March 19th. If you go to an ELS location, be there before 5:00pm for the best chance. They go fast.

There is a list of the number of tags, permit areas and seasons available on the MN DNR HSOforum.

They have leftover permits available in WI as well, up for sale on Fri March 23rd at 10am. Gonna guess all those tags will be 6th season - but some great hunting can be had then for sure!

They go on sale at 5 pm sharp on the 19th

and I will be at an ELS station to get mine[ I lost out on the drawing]
