DAV turkey hunt at Ripley

Applications are due Feb. 20 for the Third Annual Physically Disabled Veterans Turkey Hunt at Camp Ripley.

The hunt will be April 24-26 and spots are limited.

The hunt is intended for physically disabled veterans who receive outpatient treatment at a VA Medical Center or physically disabled veterans who are eligible for care and cannot hunt during the regular firearms season.

For applications, veterans can call Dennis Erie at (320) 252-1670, extension 6394. Applications can be submitted to Erie at the St. Cloud Center.

The hunt is sponsored by the St. Cloud VA Medical Center, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Minnesota National Guard, Camp Ripley.
