Fish Trap doors

I was just curious how you like the flip UP door on your Fish Traps. It looks like the door would flip down in a light wind. And, it would be more cumbersome than a door that opened to the side.

Dave, you can velcro the door up so you don't have to worry about it flying off with a light wind. Love my trap. Set up time is about 1 minute. Wish there were a few more velcro places on the side of the tarp to the poles. This would keep the tarp a little bit more tighter. Pray for cold weather.

Those doors on fish traps are worthless in my opinion.
You need to step over all your gear to get out anyway, why not just flip it open?

It looks like you have to open the door all the way, in order to get out. It just looks like it wouldn't work very well.

The door on my Magnum Deluxe works just fine. I only need to unzip one side to get out.
