Aqua Vu Mo Pod???

I just received my Free Mo Pod and when I turned it on to try it out it sounded like the gears were chewing themselves up inside. Is this normal? I am going to call Aqua Vu about it but was curious if others did the same thing?

Try pushing the button to go in the opposite direction. When they get to the end they do like to try and keep going.
