MJBo
I got that rod as christmas gift. Feels pretty sweet to me. Some say its too heavy but I can't tell.
AWH
I bought a couple of the combos from BPS a few years ago. Very nice set up for the money. I've had no problems at all with the reels and the rods have performed well too. For the money, you can definitely do a lot worse. I would highly recommend them for someone on a tighter budget. The main rod that I use of the two combos I bought is an 8 foot XH. Great all purpose rod that serves its main purpose in my boat as a bulldawg rod. I have to believe the 7'6" would work well for you.Aaron
