friday im on my way from mpls to mankato to fish the bobber shop tourny. as im sure most of the decent bait will have been taken by the time i get there i was wondering if 169 has proper catfish bait (jumbo creek chubs, decent suckers etc.) also could someone cue me into if it is on the west or east side of 169.

169sports will have the bait you need, take a right after the stop light and you'll almost be on top of the place.

They are just past the lights on the right hand side of southbound 169,in the Burrough Bowl building.

Is it legal to use them as catfish bait here in MN?

the guys i fish with will no doubt have two tons of bullheads (they are dnr approved to use if they are under 7 inches) i however am somewhat of a huge nancy over the little buggers (cue childhood memory of one stuck in my foot). plus it never hurts to have the smorgasborg for the kitties.
