Roofer
The people here seem to know alot about cameras. More than me anyhow.I am looking at video cameras for my atv, hunting adventures, and for home use. I am looking at Sony and Cannon. Which one would be a decent one for my use. May even be thinking of a helmet cam to mount in a stand or on my atv. I need something rugged and not too expensive in case I wreck it.Any suggestions? Thanks for any help. Steve Foss
Yikes, I have no knowledge of digital video cams.Anyone? You might also post this same inquiry on some of the hunting boards here on FM, as well as on the equipment-expert information board. Jim43
Lets see, I have 3 camcorders. Have on old Sony 8mm, a canonZR70MC DV camcorder, and a JVC GR-D370U. The Canon worked out great for years up until november 95. Had to send it back to get fixed for free. Bad batch of CCD`s. Then this last summer while on vacation it went out again, this time a chip that controls the CCD. Bought the JVC from Target while on vacation so I could continue to record our vacation. So far the JVC works out great and was cheap enough for thebudget minded DV camcorders. Was only $299.98 at that time.I am sure it has gone down since then.If your looking for a helmet camcorder. Try a search engine. You will be amazed at the cool helmet cams that pop up. Price is right to.
