PaulB
Anyone care to relate their experiences with using a wall mounted unit vs a ceiling unit? I have one of those story and a half houses and think it would be easier and less risky to punch a hole thru the wall than thru the ceiling and the roof. Just looking for some advice. Thanks
toughguy
I have only installed the ceiling style so I have no advice other than to call them by the proper name: "fart fan"
river-rat4
PaulB,It is not a matter of one vs another. But if it is done correctly.IMO ceiling fans excel as heat/steam rise. If ducting through an attic or cold space, the duct "MUST" be insulated to reduce condensation. Gong through the roof and shingles should not be a major deal. If buying a roof vent, follow directions...
