dnoz
Planning on heading up to Morson over the New year holiday to do some fishing. I have fished their in the summer but not in the winter. Could anyone provide any tips on what type of structure to look for where the Walleyes may be hiding this time of year?Thank you

Wild Thing
Well, let's have a party! I'll be up there New year's weekend as well! Report is now 6-12 inches of ice. But snow is very limited and sledding rough on ice. With low water, the exact spots may be harder to find, but in my limited experience the eyes are now back on the summer reefs. Anywhere from 19 to 9 feet. I've had good luck at all times of day, but with not much snow, early and late may be better. Good luck!! The shopping center is supposed to have minnows on hand. marknamy
I also will be up for the New Year weekend. My folks were up last weekend and snowmobiled all over the lake. West of Morson was rough and limited snow. They said east of Morson was great riding. 6" of snow and smooth. Don't know how much we'll fish as we are taking a group that is more interested in riding than fishing. Have a safe and fun weekend everyone.
