Pheasants around Cambridge/North Branch

Is anybody interested in a hunting partner around the area? I am fairly new to the area and haven't gotten around to knocking on doors yet (I'm kinda shy ).

Anyways, I have a young britt and I would really love to be able to get out for a couple hours every now and then and not have to drive 2 - 4 hours to find any "huntable" public land.
