Marcum True Color Upgrade.....Gone??

Okay guys now you got me a little nervous, I sent my lx3 in 2 weeks ago and havent gotten it back or heard anything yet. I'm gonna call in the morning. I e-mailed them about the upgrade and they gave me a confirmation number so I hope mine got done. I just figured they were busy and I didn't want to hound them about it. Anyone have a number and a name of someone to talk to?

when I called marcum the other day its because I think I have a bad transducer they gave me the address to ship my unit in and etc. but what I have heard from previous posts you can just have them send you a new transducer? and i assume you ship them your old one? how does that work I would rather not send my whole unit in

For my 'ducer replacement, I never sent the 'bad' one in. That was in Nov '05, when my LX-3 power head was in Brainerd getting the tc upgrade.

I have the hard shiny transducer. I mailed the whole thing to Marcum today. Thanks for your help.

Yes Tim you told me often to get upgrade done and I procrastinated and didn't . Oh well I don't mind the colour scheme of the old and also I have an LX-5 and really I don't think it will bother me much using the LX-3 without the TC upgrade because it still rocks and I'm very comfortable with it as is . May sign up incase there is upgrades again but not in hurry to send it in if there was till this season is done regardless .I'm happy .

No problem, chaffmj. I'm just glad to contribute to the FM community once in a while. I bought my Marcum on FM, and it was here that I heard about the tc upgrade, and where I was told about the transducer problems. It's where I've gone first for the past 4-5 years to research or troubleshoot just about any piece of equipment for out on the water.
