Thanks! So for those of you that have used the Eskimo Quick fish...what do you think about the durability of it? I am wondering how well the fiberglass poles will hold up. I plan on using the ice house a few times a week this winter and don't want to have to worry about things breaking. I think the Clam 2000 looks better from a durability standpoint.

I know you said you want the option of fishing two but if you want something just for youe=rself check out the pak shack. It's a one man deal with tons of room for it;s size!! At only $100 you can't really go wrong.

I was given a Frabil 2000 two man shack for Christmas. This is my first year fishing. This maybe a good shelter for a car. Its a little cramped for two people but it works and folds up very small.

Can you hang a lantern in the Frabil?

I also have a Frabill. On their HSOforum this years model number is 6067. I drive a 2002 Honda Civic 2-door and it fits in there so an Accord should be no problem. It is a good ice house for 2 but no more. Nice feature it has is a floor and is tall enough when set up to stand in. Thats why I picked the Frabill over the clam, I dont want to be a hunchback in the shelter. It has 2 metal bars to hold up the roof which are connected to the metal poles holding up the sides, this should be enough to hang a lantern from.

I will have to agree with the reply's who said the Clam2000 as I own one and have to fit it into the car along with all my other gear all the time...This shack has to be the most portable shack that I own. At that, I can fit a few in the trunk If needed...Pack size is 36''-48''-6''...with a total weight of 48 pounds..The reason this shack appealed to me is because of the equiptment sled the shack folds into when not in use...My Clam will follow me around for another season or so until I can find Otter houses in Ontario
