House boat trip

I am planning on going on a houseboat trip in northern Minnesota next year but have no idea which companies to check into or where. Please post back some info and suggestions.

I have been on one house boat trip and it was a blast. The company we went through was Ebel's i believe. It was up on kabetogama and namakan lakes. Real fun time, very customer friendly. We had one little problem on the trip and they asked our location and were there w/ in the hour. very good company to go through. Good luck w/ your searches. I believe rainy lake has a couple companies operating on the lake.

Went on a trip out of Crane Lake. Voyagaire houseboats was the place we went out of. We went through Crane, Sand Point, and then beached on Namakan. The scenery was great and the hospitality was also. We broke a recoil spring and called to see where we would have to go to have it fixed, and they sent a guy out and got it. Picked up in the afternoon, and had it back the next moring. I have been on 4 houseboat trips and had a blast on all of them.

Tough to beat Rainy Lake Houseboats in Int'l Falls. Bill Dougherty is a class guy - they're equipment is high quality - and the lake is putting out absolutely great fishing these days. Bit of advice - earlier is better than later.
