I don't live in that area but I believe if you go to the DNR site you can get some useful info. When you get to the main page click on the lake finder button. After that on the lower right part of the page there is a link called recreational compass, click that. Now you can scrol around, zoom in and out, and click feature info to find out about lakes in your area. You can get maps and how many and what sizes of all the species in the lake.

walleye in the metro are a closely guarded secret. Not many will share that info with you. It just one of those things you will need to do the leg work on to find for yourself. The DNR wesbite is a great place to start. After looking at it for awhile I have a list of lakes I want to try for several different species.

I think it's more of no one has really gotten out much to make any reports. But if I had to choose a lake in that area, I'd say Prior or maybe Spring. Fish Lk used to but i think it had a bad winter kill some yrs ago and not sure if it every recovered.

If your willing to take a lil drive Cannon Lk in Fairbault, has some nice ones.

Good luck
