me and my frinds went and got 5 in 2 hrs. bigs one being 7 lbs and the smalist being 4lbs thats all we wonted so we left.

Bear Hunter I just saw your post. I'm not to far from Brookston and fish Cats once and a while on the St Louis. Do you fish from the bank? I'll bet if you posted on the Duluth forum you'd get more bitters from the locals. We'll have to hook up some time.

Couldnt take you up on the offer this time. The fishing has been about the same in Floodwood also.

I just read your posting, a couple of days too late. The fishing just down river from you seems to have slowed up a little. Last time I went I only got a couple of cats. I had to leave yearly though because of some bad weather coming in. S.t. and I fish alot together we'll have to hook up with you in the next couple of wks.
