I AM BEGINNING BATTERY SHOPPING FOR MY DROP DOWN HOUSE AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT EVERYONE USES/RECOMMENDS>>> I AM THINKING ABOUT TRYING THE DEEP CYCLES THAT WALMART SELLS SINCE THEY ARE ONLY 64.00 AND THEY HAVE AN RC OF 210 WHICH IN THEIR MANUAL MEANS 210 MINUTES AT 25 AMP DRAW. i WOULD BE PURCHASING 2 OF THESE TO RUN MY LED LIGHTING, BLOWER FAN ON FURNACE AND MY 7" LCD. WOULD THESE 2 BATTERIES BE SUFFICIENT ENOUGH TO LAST A WEEKEND? THE FURNACE DRAWS 3.4 AMPS. DONT FORGET TO POST WHAT YOU RUN FOR BATTERIES AND HOW LONG THEY RUN FOR YOU

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT!!!

I think you'll be cutting it close with two batteries. Lets say your discharging 5 amps from a 100 amp hr battery. That'll give you 20 hrs. Heres the kicker, unless your batteries are stored in a warm place you can reduce that RC by half. Now its a matter of how cold it is outside and how often you furnace runs. A warm weekend and you'll be fine but if shes very cold your furnace will run more often.

About caps, for me reading is more fluent without all caps.

lol. Respect the subtle comedy. There's nothing wrong with it, but sometimes I feel like someone is shouting to/at me if they use caps. just my h.o.

I use two 12 volt gel batteries (Vex batteries), but I take them with me each time and keep them charged up and in tip top shape. My LED lights don't ever draw much off them.
