Buddy or Mr. Heater

I know this subject becomes similar to a Ford -vs- Chevy debate, but I am wondering anyones opinion as to which route I should go. I just purchased an otter lodge and my current heater (colman focus five) isn't powerful enough to heat it. I know you can get buddy heaters fairly cheap now days. My question is this...Would a buddy heater be big enough to heat my house, or should I go the Mr. Heater / cooker route?

I have an otterlodge an heat it with a mr. heater head an put the tank in a milk crate for safty reasons. I have been hunting in pop up blinds with a buddy heater an no way can it sustain heat in these temps from the last week, a big buddy not sure, but a single buddy not for me. If you have a kid with you try a big buddy, no kids mr. heater head with carbon monoxide detector, I carry one with me in my otter, about 20 bucks but worth the investment. Later boar

Big Buddy would be fine for you, regular Buddy would struggle in those breezy sub-zero temps. The low oxygen / carbon monoxide shut off is worth it, and it's nice not to have burning eyes in the fish house.

I have a Big Buddy and a cooker and use the cooker on the very cold days in my doublewide Polar fish house. The Big Buddy doesn't get my house as warm as I want on the cold days. The cooker puts out more heat, but you can put the Buddy right against the canvas and not have to worry about melting a hole and I don't get a headache like when I used the cooker all the time. I don't think a buddy would put out enough heat for you, but a Big Buddy should be just fine in your house.
