Been doing good when fishing cats up on this end of the river .. mostly around the 29 access area. I havent fished for them the last few nights due to the walleyes turning on at Prairie.

Ebass ... I moved to Floodwood which is directly inbetween Duluth and Grand Rapids on Hwy 2.

Fisherdave, that's a good town for you to move to since you fish cats, they have the old festival for em every year. We drive through floodwood on the way to the cabin, which is on Balsam Lake up past nashwauk, bovey, and those little towns. Know where it is?

I have a general idea where they are .. I know I have drivin through them before.

I cant complain of the fishing in the area. It has been pretty good this far. With the exception of the river right in town here .. everything is underfished.
