I purchased a lowrance x67c last year from Cabelas, so it came in a cabelas soft pack. All the other ones that I see are in the lowrance bag with the arm that holds the transducer. I was wonder about the arm. Does anyone have one that they want to sell, or know where you can purchase one from??? thanks

What does yours have, a Vex type float? I have the Lowrance pack and the arm is not the greatest design in the world. I've heard of several guys just going with a float.

I wouldn't worry about finding an arm the design leaves much to be desired. Ralph's suggestion about the float is the way to go. I had the arm for my M68 for 2 trips and lost it. I'm happier without it.

Yeah, it has that type of float, only a much cheaper version. But I thought with the arm, it would keep all the extra wire up in the bag, instead of dragging around

Just pick up the Vexilar replacement float and you are in business. I think you'll figure out a way to deal with the wires. Good luck.

I think I will get a vex replacement. I guess the arms don't work as good as they look. Thanks guys.

The arm will only work with the Lowrance pack. There is no socket in the Cabela's pack for the arm to sit in.

As far as the wire dragging, just wrap the extra wire around the mounting bracket.

Besides the bad float design, how do you like it?

I love it. You get all the bells and whistles like the best vex's, for a decent price. And as far as people saying that the pix freeze up. They haven't.

I just put the transducer down and let out just enough cord to get below the bottom of the ice. No arm, no float, just leave the extra cord wrapped up.

Ditto I just let it hang. No float and for sure no stupid arm. On my third year with the unit and no problems.
