Question

I do not ice fish, but I spend a lot of time in the field chasing pheasants with my dogs. My question...Is there anything that I could put on my springer's eyes so that they get less beat up? Or is there anything that I could put on them post hunt to aid in the healing process?

Thanks,

BHS

This would be a better post in the hunting dogs section, but my vet gave me a clear creme to put around his eyes after hunting. It's called EBC creame and it works great. I have used it four times this year when my dogs eyes were bleeding from the cattails. The eyes never scab up like they did before. They just get a little red and it is cleared up in about a day to a day and a half. He does not seem to care about his eyes when we are hunting but I don't like seeing him bleed. I paid about 15$ and it will last all year if I used it everytime out.
