catfish fishing reports

I thought that since there isn't a fishing report topic on this forum I better post one. My fishing report is that it has been really slow in the north minneapolis/BC/BP section of the mississippi in the past week. I haven't gotten so much a singele cat so far. The water is really high right now so that might be to blame for the lack of cat action. I will let you guys know when it heats up!!!

It's been slow for me to. Only one wee little cat yesterday by North Miss Regional Park. My buddy caught a sucker to. Otherwise not much. Even tried the Crow and my buddy caught a smaller cat. Like minnow small. Using crawlers.

Well I finnaly got the first cat of the year yesterday. I ended up with about 5 channels and I missed probably 15 due to bad hooks. I also got two smallies, one was 3 lbs and a nice walleye. I finnaly got back on top of things I think, I tried a spot that I haven't been to in like 2 years and it really produced. This was at the mississippi south of the 694 bridge.

my buddy and I got 3 channels from 22-25" last friday fishing under the ford dam. Water was fast, so we lost a lot of rigs in the rocks, but it was fun. Cut bait and catfish dough were the baits.

Well the bite seems to keep heating up for me. I was out yesterday and I really pounded the channels. I ended up with like 25 of them, up to about 7lbs all on ultralite tackle. They were slamming the dipworms as soon as I could get them out there!!!
