HOW & WHERE TO FIX VOYAGER TUB

White-tips

Question

The NW Angle got the best of my Voyager last year. Two cracks in the front where the tow bar attaches. I currently live in Fargo. If anyone out there knows of anyone who does plastic welding and or fabrication in general that could not only fix the cracks but reinforce/redesign how my tow bar attaches, please let me know. I'd like to make my tow bar attach like the Otter tubs do, I just don't have access to the materials and tools. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Post here or drop and E-mail@ [email protected]

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if this will help but we got some sticks from the repair shop at Scheels, think they use them on skis. You light on end and let it drip onto the crack.

But, it sounds like you may need some additional support than that. I also cut out a strip of aluminum that I bent arond the mounting area on the inside of the tub. Drilled two holes in the strap and ran the tow bar bolts through the strap, then tub, then the other side of the strap. Don't have a digital camera, a picture would be way easier than describing it.
