Plan on muzzleloading down in this area next week. Just wanted to find out how it has been for the deer hunting down there recently. I am on private land in the Ivanhoe area and always see a lot of deer while pheasant hunting. Any tips and tricks for hunting that open territory would also be appreciated. I'm used to hunting from stands in thick woods so this is a new deer hunting experience for me. Thanks!
