Hello would like to know if there is any ice up in the Canada area?

We don't have any ice on lower manitou at this time, Today it was 42 degrees. We are however planning on being open for the 3rd weekend in January through ice out this year.

Small lakes skimed over, no fishing opertunities at least for 2 weeks would be my prediction. Water is colder than normal but air temps are higher than normal. If it stays cold with no wind should freeze fast.

Hey Outfitter what kind of rates are you going to have for the winter fishing?????

Outfitter, do you take trucks out the the resort in the winter? I would like to know your rates and would like to make a laker trip this winter. Any info appreciated.

We don't take any trucks on the ice, because there is no where to access the lake other than snowmobile trails. There are a couple of places to park your truck and then snowmobile in to camp. I usually park at the dogfly parking lot at 18km or at 24km and then follow the trail to the lake. If you guys want some winter rates you can e-mail me at [email protected] and you can also check back on the rentals section, I will be placing an add on tuesday or wednesday for winter rentals.

Anyone been on the cedar narrows road? I would think the smaller lakes like Straw have froze? Thanks.
